I’m about to open an account with XTB and I’m trying to get a clearer picture of what their support is actually like when things go wrong. I’ve read some general reviews but I want to know from people who’ve actually used their support - were they helpful? Did they respond quickly? What kind of issues did you run into?
I’m particularly interested in withdrawal-related questions since that seems to be where most support interactions happen. Also curious if the quality differs depending on your account type or trading volume.
If you’ve used XTB’s support, what was your honest experience? And did any of you look at rebates through GlobeGain or similar services - does that change how you think about the broker overall?
Used XTB’s support twice last year. Once for a deposit issue and once for clarifying their spreads during news.
Both times they responded within a few hours via email. They actually gave me clear answers instead of copy-paste responses, which was nice. The support staff seemed to understand trading rather than just reading from a script.
One thing I noticed - they’re pretty strict about verification documents. Plan on that taking a few days. Overall I’d say their support is solid for a mid-tier broker.
Their live chat is faster than email but sometimes gets backed up during major news events. I had a position management question during the FOMC announcement and waited about 20 minutes for someone to respond.
The best part is they actually helped me optimize my rebate settings when I asked about it. That’s rare - most brokers don’t care about that side of things.
XTB’s support quality depends on what you’re asking. For account or technical issues, they’re responsive. For trading strategy questions, don’t expect much - they’ll usually point you to educational resources.
I’ve filed three withdrawal requests through them and each time they confirmed within 24 hours. Processing time varies by your payment method, not their speed.
One practical note: keep records of all support conversations. Once had a rebate tracking issue and having timestamps of my support messages saved me about two hours of back-and-forth.
