I’m mapping out my withdrawal plan before I fund an fxpro account. I want to avoid surprises.
From what I understand, deposit refunds go back to the same card first, and profits can be sent by wire or an e-wallet. Some banks add fees or extra days, and e-wallets can be quicker if everything matches.
Can anyone share recent timing by method and region, plus any fees you actually paid? If you needed money within 24–48 hours, which route would you pick and why?
Card refund first then profits faster with Skrill.
Define your need: fastest or cheapest. For speed, e-wallets are consistent if your account is fully verified and the wallet name matches. Card refunds are fine but only cover deposits and sometimes sit with the card issuer for a few days. Wires vary the most, since intermediary banks can add time. If funds are needed this week, I would do card refund for deposits, then e-wallet for profits. If the amount is large and you need a bank, ask support for the cut off and expected window.
Region matters. SEPA transfers inside the EU are usually faster than international SWIFT. Domestic wires beat cross border wires. Card payouts can be slower if the issuer treats it like a refund queue. E-wallets are quickest when both sides are verified and in the same currency. Submit before bank cut off and avoid holidays. Also check withdrawal hierarchy rules, card expiry, and limits per request. If you expect several thousands, split into two methods to hedge against a delay.
From my side, card refund hit mid week, then I sent profits to Neteller and it arrived the next day.
If I was in a rush, I would avoid late Friday requests.
Wire speed depends on your bank. Mine took three days once because of an intermediary. E-wallet was next day.
Last three payouts:
Card refund cleared mid week with no fee.
Neteller profit transfers showed up the next day.
A wire took two business days when sent before noon.
If you want certainty, card plus e-wallet was the most reliable combo for me.
I had one snag when my card expired.
Support asked me to confirm a new card, so profits went by wire meanwhile.
Lesson learned: update payment details before you request. It saved time later.
