which are the best day trading indicators for cryptocurrency?

Been daytrading crypto for a while now and my current setup isn’t cutting it anymore. Market moves too fast and I’m missing good entries.

What indicators actually work for you guys in these volatile conditions? Looking for something that doesn’t lag too much.

I stick to a few indicators that keep up with crypto’s pace.

Stochastic RSI beats regular RSI for crypto - it picks up momentum changes faster. When it hits oversold during a bounce, that’s my entry signal.

Order flow indicators are solid if your platform supports them. Watching real buy/sell pressure is way better than guessing from price action.

Support and resistance levels work best for crypto volatility.

Volume + RSI divergence is money for crypto entries. Price hits new highs but RSI shows weakness? Short it.

Bollinger Bands catch breakouts. Wait for the squeeze, then ride the expansion with volume backing it up.

Ditch moving averages - they’re trash in crypto. Too much whipsaw. Stick to price action and support/resistance for faster signals.

What really dialed in my timing: 1-minute chart for entries, 5-minute for direction. Crypto’s too fast without that granular view.

ATR bands beat Bollinger Bands for crypto every time. They track actual volatility, not just price spread. I set mine at 2x ATR and trade the bounces. Use momentum divergence on 15-minute charts to cut through the noise. When price hits new lows but momentum doesn’t follow, that’s your reversal setup. Volume profile is where the magic happens. Most retail traders skip it, but it shows you exactly where the big money’s buying or selling.

VWAP is solid for crypto day trading. It helps spot where the smart money is going.
