Where to find updated reliability ratings for broker support teams?

Got burned by a broker’s ‘award-winning support’ claim that turned out to be outsourced and script-dependent. Saw mentions of community-maintained scorecards here. How current are these assessments? Do members actually update them when support quality changes? Want to avoid another bad experience when opening new accounts.

Check the quarterly scorecard threads. They get updated

The crowd ratings work best when cross-referenced:

  1. Look at the main scorecard spreadsheet
  2. Check last 3 months’ discussion posts about the broker
  3. Search for ‘support’ in the broker-specific subforum

No rating system is perfect, but combining these gives a 90% accurate picture. Members tend to report negative changes faster than positive ones.

  • Requires verification of support tickets
  • Tracks resolution time objectively
  • Separates technical vs account issues

Used it to switch from IG to a better-supported broker. Withdrawals now take 2 days instead of 9.
