XTB’s pricing page shows basic spreads but I’m getting charged for ‘additional services’. Found a fee breakdown tool that lists overnight financing, inactivity fees, and currency conversion rates. Has anyone audited these against real account statements? Any hidden costs that aren’t in the public reports?
Inactivity fees hit after 12 months
Cross-check their swap rates against interbank benchmarks. XTB adds 12-15% markup on published FX swaps. The fee tool is accurate for EUR/USD but understates exotics by 0.7 pips. Use their API for real-time calculations if trading less common pairs.
I compared my Q1 statement to the fee calculator - matched except for a small CFD corporate action fee they don’t mention. Maybe ask support for the full list before trading dividends.
Their swap calculator is outdated
Audited 67 trades: 89% matched the public fee structure. Exceptions were GBP/NZD swaps (0.12% higher than stated) and a 2EUR monthly report fee. Use their raw spread data feed if available - avoids web interface rounding errors.
