What's your take on using XTB as a trading platform?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been doing some research on various trading platforms recently and keep seeing mostly positive feedback about XTB. I’m curious about what actual users think about it.

I’ve been using their platform for a while now, mainly for ETF investments. The experience has been quite good overall since I don’t really need many features. However, I’ve encountered a frustrating issue - I can’t seem to export a detailed spreadsheet with all my transaction history from my investment plans. I want to perform my own calculations, but the reporting options seem limited.

What I do appreciate are the automatic investing feature (although it doesn’t work with every ETF, which is disappointing), reasonable costs, and the fact that they take care of tax reporting automatically, which is a big plus for me. But this export issue has me concerned that I might run into more problems later on.

Is anyone else using XTB? What has your experience been like? Have you faced similar issues with accessing your data?

Been using them for forex mostly. Platform works fine but the reporting is pretty basic compared to other brokers.

XTB is good for simple strategies but their data export is an issue. You have to reach out to support for CSV transaction history which can take time. The spreads are decent and execution is reliable for major pairs. The automatic tax reporting is convenient but verify it if you trade a lot. The platform is stable but lacks advanced charting features like MT4 or cTrader.

Good for basics but lacks detailed reports.

I ditched XTB for the same reporting issues. I couldn’t get decent trade data for my records.

Customer service will send you files, but you’re waiting days and the format’s usually wrong for any real analysis.

It’s fine for basic trading but if you need proper data control and detailed reports, look elsewhere.
