Been trading for a while but still get confused with all the timezone differences.
Usually I’m ready to go Sunday night but sometimes I’m off by an hour or two. What time does it actually kick off where you are?

5 PM EST is right for Sydney. Waiting for London open helps avoid early volatility.
Market opens 6 PM EST for me, but I wait until 8 PM when things actually start moving.
Sunday opens are dead anyway - no point jumping in right when Sydney starts. Monday morning London session beats Sunday evening trading every time.
5 PM EST Sunday for me. That’s when Sydney opens and liquidity picks up.
I used to mess this up all the time because of daylight saving changes. Now I just check MT4 - most brokers show server time and when the next session starts.
Pro tip: don’t jump in right at 5 PM. Wait 30 minutes for things to settle. Those first few minutes get crazy with weekend gaps.
