What actually happens to your rebates if a broker's regulation status changes?

So I found out recently that FP Markets had some regulatory changes happen, and it got me thinking about something I hadn’t considered before: if a broker’s regulation status shifts, does that actually affect your rebates through GlobeGain?

I’m not even sure what regulatory changes could happen or how common they are. Could a broker lose a license? Get it suspended? Move to a different regulator? And if any of that happens, would GlobeGain still be able to process rebates, or would that get frozen too?

I’ve been building up decent cashback over time, and the thought of a regulatory change messing that up is kind of stressing me out. I’m also wondering if some brokers are more stable than others when it comes to their regulatory status. Does reputation matter, or can even the biggest brokers have sudden changes?

How do you actually keep track of this stuff without obsessing over it? And have any of you actually experienced a broker’s regulation situation changing while you had money there?
