Hallo zusammen!
XTB’s a solid CFD broker. Spreads are decent and the platform’s stable - I’ve had maybe a handful of outages in years.
Trade Republic’s mostly for stocks and ETFs. I’d stick with XTB for CFDs since they’ve got way more experience there.
What I like about XTB: The negative balance protection actually works and support usually gets back to you fast. Mobile app’s good enough when you’re out.
Only downside - overnight financing costs are higher than some other brokers. Keep an eye on that if you hold positions longer.
For starting out, XTB’s definitely solid. Stick with them for now and you can always switch later if something’s missing.
XTB has been reliable for my CFD trading over my two years with them. Their execution remains strong even in volatile markets.
Trade Republic serves a different purpose, mainly for long-term investments, which is not ideal for active traders.
With XTB, you get genuine CFD trading options, including leverage and the ability to short.
It’s better to concentrate on your current platform and hone your risk management instead of switching brokers too often.
XTB’s platform works well for beginners. Spreads aren’t the cheapest, but execution’s solid.
This breaks down different broker types - should help you understand the differences.
XTB’s trading tools work great for beginners - they’re useful without being overwhelming.
Most brokers either give you basic charts or dump confusing professional tools on you. XTB nails the middle ground.
Their market analysis actually explains what moves prices instead of throwing random indicators at you. Way more valuable than slightly lower spreads when you’re just starting.
XTB fills orders fast during volatility which matters most.
Been with XTB for 3 years. Their customer service actually answers the phone when things go sideways.
Platform’s rock solid during big news events - NFP, ECB meetings, whatever. Never crashed when I’m holding positions.
Here’s what others missed - their demo account actually matches live conditions. Most brokers give you tight demo spreads then screw you on live accounts. XTB doesn’t.
Their educational content’s solid if you’re starting out. Beats broker-hopping while you’re still learning basics.
Stay put until you know what you actually need. Then you can shop around with real requirements instead of guessing.
Check XTB’s overnight costs against other brokers first. Yeah, their spreads look good, but financing charges eat into profits fast when you hold CFDs longer than a day. Grab their cost calculator and test it with real positions you’d take. I’ve seen tons of new traders miss this and watch winning trades turn into losses. The platform works fine though - fills and slippage aren’t issues.
XTB works fine but check their swap rates first.
