I’ve been thinking about something that came up when I was looking at different brokers on GlobeGain: rebate structures sometimes tell you more about a broker than their marketing does.
Here’s what caught my attention—some brokers offer really transparent rebate terms, and they break down exactly how much you get back and when. Other brokers have rebates that look generous on the surface but have all these conditions attached.
I started wondering if the brokers that are upfront about rebates are also the ones that are more reliable in other areas. Like, if they’re willing to be transparent about what they’re giving you back, maybe they’re also more honest about their execution quality and support standards.
I know rebates aren’t everything, obviously. But I feel like the data behind cash back programs could actually help identify which brokers take their relationship with traders seriously versus just trying to extract money.
Has anyone here actually used rebate transparency as a way to evaluate broker reliability? Do you think the brokers that are most straightforward about cashback are also the ones with better overall trust?
