Thinking of opening an account with eightcap, what are your honest experiences?

I’m comparing brokers for a small live account and Eightcap keeps coming up. Reviews are split, so I’d rather hear from people who’ve actually used them.

How were your spreads on majors, and did they widen a lot around London open or news? Any noticeable slippage on market orders or stop orders? MT4/MT5 stability okay during busy times? If you withdrew, what method and how long did it take?

Any red flags like odd KYC requests, platform freezes, or price spikes that made you leave?

What are your real pros and cons, and would you open with them again?

Tight spreads okay execution withdrawals took two business days

Eightcap is fine if you manage a few checks. Confirm which entity you open under, since conditions and protections can differ. Run a two week live test with tiny size. Log spread, slippage, and disconnects during London, New York, and one major news event. Place a limit, a market, and a stop order each day to sample execution. Do a small withdrawal on week one to test back office. If everything stays consistent and support responds fast, then scale slowly.

Demo felt smooth for me, but live tells the truth.

Start small, trade across sessions, and keep notes on fills and platform stability. Do a small withdrawal early so you know their process.

MT5 spreads on EURUSD were fine. Small slippage only during big news. My Skrill withdrawal reached same day once, next time took two days.

Used them for six months under the Bahamas entity. Execution through London was good, Asia slower but stable.

Two bank withdrawals landed in three business days. Card refunds took longer. Biggest negatives for me were swaps on some minors and spreads widening hard on certain news drops. Nothing toxic, just plan around events.
