Switched from MT4 to cTrader and now my rebates are different. What's going on?

I’ve been a consistent MT4 user until I switched to cTrader.
Now my rebates are confusingly low.
Not sure if it’s a platform issue or a broker tweak.
Anyone else facing this?

Been there, mate. Switched to cTrader a while back and saw my rebates drop too. Here’s what I found out:

cTrader usually has a different commission structure than MT4. Some brokers adjust their whole rebate system for it.

First thing I did was check my account type and trading volume on cTrader. The switch actually reset my tier with the broker.

Called up my account manager and got them to break down the rebate calculations for both platforms. Turns out they had totally separate structures.

If you’re doing decent volume, try negotiating. I managed to get a custom rebate deal that worked better for me on cTrader.

Also, double-check with GlobeGain. Sometimes they have different cashback rates for different platforms too.
