Should I rebuild my RoboForex account choice based on GlobeGain rebate data from other traders?

I’ve been using RoboForex for about eight months now on a Standard account. Been okay, nothing special. But I’ve been reading through community posts and rebate tracking threads and people are showing data that makes me think I picked the wrong account type.

Like, someone posted their GlobeGain rebate breakdown across Standard and Pro accounts and the numbers looked completely different from what I expected. Pro account supposedly got them 30% more in rebates per month. But I wasn’t sure if I was reading it right or if their trading volume is just way different from mine.

That got me thinking: how much should I actually trust what I see in community rebate tracking data? Are traders comparing apples to apples or am I missing something? Should I switch account types based on what other people’s rebate performance shows?

I want to make sure I’m not just chasing better numbers from people who might trade differently than I do. What’s your take on using community rebate data as evidence for switching account types?

Community rebate data is useful only if you understand the context behind it. Volume, pair selection, and trading frequency all change the outcome.

Someone getting 30% more rebates on Pro might be trading 100 lots per month. You might trade 20. Their rebate percentage won’t match yours even on the same account.

What you should do: Look at rebate rate per lot, not total rebates. Standard might pay 0.4 pips per lot. Pro might pay 0.3. That’s the actual comparison. Then add commission and spreads back in.

Use GlobeGain’s data to verify the rebate rates themselves are real. Then calculate what YOU would make based on your actual volume. That’s the only number that matters for your decision.

I made this mistake six months ago. Saw someone posting great Pro account rebates and switched thinking I’d suddenly make more money.

Turned out they traded way more volume than me and their rebate rewards reflected that. Pro account actually cost me slightly more per lot once I factored in commission.

Now I track my own GlobeGain rebates monthly against my actual trading volume. That’s the data I trust. Community experiences are helpful context but your personal numbers are what decides it.

Community data is helpful for getting general direction, but you really need to apply it to your own trading.

What I do is look at what people are saying about account types, then run the numbers for my own volume and pairs. GlobeGain tracks everything, so your actual rebates will tell you if a switch makes sense.

Don’t switch just because someone else is winning. Switch because the math works out for how you actually trade.

Other people’s rebates don’t mean yours will match just look at your own tracking data.

Your volume differs their money doesn’t predict yours calculate your own.
