Dulu sekitar tahun 2008 sempat nyoba trading forex sambil jaga warnet. Waktu itu pakai platform Marketiva dan cuma focus sama pair USD JPY doang. Hasilnya lumayan menguntungkan sih, tapi masalahnya waktu itu proses deposit sama withdraw ribet banget dan fee-nya gede.
Beberapa minggu terakhir ini lagi coba demo account di MIFX sama OCTA. Masih tetep fokus ke USD JPY karena udah familiar. Lumayan tertarik buat mulai lagi nih.
So far pengalaman pakai MIFX:
Interface mobile app nya bagus dan user friendly
Tapi ada masalah sama execution order yang kadang gagal
Belum nyoba live account tapi liat struktur komisi dan spread di berbagai jenis akun jadi agak ragu
Makanya pengen cari tau broker lain yang mungkin lebih bagus. Ada saran ga?
Had the same execution issues with MIFX about 6 months back. Their app looks good but their servers can’t handle volatile sessions.
For USDJPY, go with Pepperstone or Exness. Both fill orders consistently when the yen’s moving fast. Pepperstone’s got tighter spreads but needs a bigger deposit. Exness is easier for funding.
You’ve been away a while, so start small. USDJPY’s totally different since 2008 - algorithms run everything now and price moves aren’t the same.
Check out cashback services like GlobeGain once you pick a broker. You’ll get some trading costs back and it adds up.
FBS or FXTM will give you way better execution than MIFX. Both handle USDJPY really well - no issues with fills. FBS lets you start smaller if you don’t want to dump a lot upfront. Skip demo since you already know the pair, plus demo spreads are fake anyway. Go with whoever supports local payments so you don’t deal with withdrawal nightmares again.
