Mt4/mt5 on exness: is platform stability and execution solid under load?

I’m testing Exness mainly for MT4 and MT5. I care more about platform stability and order handling than the headline spread. How does it behave during London open, New York overlap, and big releases like NFP or CPI? Any disconnects, delayed order mods, off quotes, or platform freezes?

If you can, share account type, server, VPS or home internet, average ping, and any platform logs. Also curious about mobile and web behavior under stress. If you switched to or from Exness, what changed in day to day use?

What specific issues did you face and how did you work around them?

MT5 held fine at London open on Exness.

Got two requotes during NFP but orders filled.

Test both platforms side by side for a week. Keep the same pairs and chart count. Log ping and record every disconnect in the journal. Time order placement to confirmation in milliseconds during quiet and busy periods. Try one session on home internet and another on a VPS near their server to compare. Reduce indicators and EAs to see if freezes are local load. Note rollover minutes and news times because many platforms hiccup there. Report with timestamps so patterns are easy to spot.

On my setup MT5 was stable with 15 to 25 ms ping. The only slowdowns were a brief freeze around rollover when swaps update. Order edits during NFP took longer, around one to two seconds, but filled. Keeping chart count low helped. MT4 needed a restart once after a long session. If you run EAs, limit logs and turn off unused symbols to keep the terminal responsive.

If you use a VPS, check its location.

After moving closer to the server my ping dropped and the quick disconnects during New York stopped for me.

No big drops here. I got one off quotes during CPI. Restarted the terminal and it was fine after.

Ran MT5 on a VPS for a month.

London open was smooth with fast entries and edits. The only pain was a short chart freeze near rollover. I avoid placing or moving orders then.

MT4 froze when I had many charts and indicators.

After I cut the chart count and disabled tick recording, execution felt normal again. Ping stayed under 30 ms most sessions.
