I trade fairly actively on HFM and I’m wondering if there’s actually a way to optimize how I’m using GlobeGain rebates. Right now I’m just trading normally and the rebates come through, but I’m not sure if I’m getting the most value out of them.
I’ve heard that some traders track their rebates closely, maybe adjust their strategy timing, or find specific pairs that offer better cashback. I’m not trying to chase rebates instead of trading well, but if there’s a way to intentionally structure trades to maximize them while still trading my edge, that seems worth exploring.
I’m doing maybe 15-20 trades per week across EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and sometimes crude oil and gold. Does frequency matter? Do certain pairs pay more? Is there anything I’m missing to actually squeeze more value out of the rebate structure?
How are you actually approaching this if you’re an active HFM trader?
Rebates are passive. Trade your strategy. Don’t chase them.
High volume traders get more volume rebates naturally.
Don’t structure your trades around rebates. That’s a fast way to turn profitable trading into breakeven.
Your edge and risk management come first. Rebates are the tailwind, not the strategy.
With 15-20 trades weekly, you’re already in range where rebates compound meaningfully. Focus on consistency and execution, not optimization.
One practical note: some rebate structures tier based on monthly volume. At your frequency, you might qualify for higher tiers. Check your GlobeGain account to see if you’ve hit any tier thresholds. If you’re 10% away from the next tier, hitting it matters. But don’t trade extra lots just to chase it.
I used to think the same thing when I started actively trading. But honestly, the best way to maximize rebates is just to keep trading your normal strategy consistently.
The rebates come through automatically. What helped me was tracking my monthly volume and seeing if I could naturally increase it by being more disciplined with my entries. Better trading volume and rebates both went up.
Just trade well and the rebates take care of themselves.
Rebates scale with volume. Just trade normally and they’ll add up automatically over time.
I tried to optimize rebates early on and it actually hurt my trading. Started overthinking entries to hit certain volumes or pairs, ignored some good setups, took some bad ones.
Turned it around when I stopped thinking about rebates and focused on my actual trading plan. The irony is my volume went UP and my rebates went UP because I was trading better and more consistently.
At your frequency, you’re already capturing meaningful cashback. The real optimization is improving your win rate and average win size. That drives volume and rebates naturally without forcing it.
