Made $8K profit in under 30 days trading with Xm platform - how to maintain this streak?

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent trading experience and get some advice from the community. Over the past few weeks, I managed to grow my account from $5,000 to $13,000 using the Xm trading platform. This happened in less than a month which feels pretty incredible to me. I know this kind of growth might not be sustainable long term, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences with rapid account growth. What strategies did you use to keep the momentum going? I’m also curious about risk management techniques that work well when you’re on a winning streak like this. Should I be more conservative now or keep pushing with the same approach that got me here? Any tips on how to protect these gains would be really helpful. Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!

Cash out your winnings and go back to your starting bankroll. Winning streaks don’t last forever.

Take out half and trade with the rest.

It is easy to get caught up in the excitement of a winning streak and increase your position sizes. Stick to your original trading rules and lower your risk per trade instead. Treat your account like it’s still 5k.

The market will always challenge your strategy. Aim for consistent growth rather than chasing quick gains.

That’s awesome but pump the brakes hard right now.

I’ve been there. Had a crazy 3-week run in 2018 - turned $3k into $11k. Thought I’d cracked the code. Kept the same position sizes and lost most of it within two weeks.

The market gave you a gift. Don’t give it back by thinking you’re invincible.

Drop your position sizes by at least 60%. I know it feels wrong when you’re winning, but that’s exactly when you need to do it. Your brain’s pumped full of dopamine right now and making terrible risk decisions.

Start taking profits more aggressively. Set hard stop losses on every trade. The same randomness that made you $8k can wipe it out just as fast.

XM’s solid for execution so that’s not your problem. Overconfidence is.
