Hey everyone! I’m getting ready to jump into live forex trading and I’ve been checking out FBS as my potential broker. Before I make any decisions, I really want to hear from people who have actually used their platform. What has your experience been like with FBS? Are their spreads competitive? How’s their customer support when you need help? Also, if you think there are better alternatives out there, I’d love to hear your recommendations. Used FBS for 6 months in 2019. Spreads were decent on majors - usually 1-2 pips on EUR/USD during London session. Nothing special but workable.
Platform ran smooth most of the time. Had 2-3 connection drops during big news events, but that’s pretty normal.
Support was hit or miss. Live chat was fast but agents couldn’t handle complex order issues. Had a withdrawal problem that took them 4 days to fix after escalating.
Switched to IC Markets for better execution speeds since I scalp. FBS works fine for swing trading though.
They’re decent if you’re starting out. Just test their demo first and keep positions small until you see how they handle your orders.
