I’m getting close to opening my first real forex account and I keep coming back to reliability questions. RoboForex pops up in a lot of recommendations and the rebate system through GlobeGain sounds solid, but I want to make sure I’m not depositing money with a broker that’s going to have platform issues or get into regulatory trouble.
I’ve read mixed things online about RoboForex support and execution during market stress. Some people say it’s stable across all account types, others mention issues with withdrawals or platform crashes during volatile periods.
Before I commit to one of their account types, I want to know: is RoboForex actually reliable for most traders? Are there specific account types that feel more stable than others? Has anyone had problems with withdrawals or support? And does using GlobeGain rebates actually make the experience better, or are you just trading with a broker you have doubts about?
RoboForex is fine. Withdrawals are slow but consistent. No big issues.
ECN feels slightly more stable than Standard during volatility.
RoboForex is tier-two reliable. Not top tier like FxPro or IC Markets, but significantly better than shady offshore shops.
They’re FSC regulated in Belize, which is weaker than UK or EU regulation but still legitimate oversight. Your funds are segregated, which is the main safety concern.
Withdrawals take 3-5 business days typically, not fast but consistent. I’ve never heard of funds vanishing, which is the real test.
ECN accounts feel more stable during news events than Standard, probably because they route to real market depth instead of internal matching. Pro sits in between.
The rebates through GlobeGain don’t change broker reliability. They’re just cashback. Choose RoboForex because the trading conditions work for you, not because of rebates. If you don’t trust the broker itself, the rebate won’t fix that.
My honest take: fine for smaller accounts under $10k. For larger deposits, consider FxPro or IC Markets for stronger regulation.
Run a small test deposit first. $100-200. Make a few trades, test a withdrawal. See how long it takes and whether the experience feels solid. That’s better data than any review online.
RoboForex works fine. Withdrawals are slow but safe. Support is average.
I tested RoboForex with a small deposit about three years ago and I’m still using them, so that tells you something.
Reliability wise, they’re consistent. Platform doesn’t crash, withdrawals process, support responds. Not the best in any category, but solid across the board.
One thing I noticed: ECN account withdrawals seem to process faster than Standard, though that might be coincidence. Either way, no major complaints.
I haven’t had support issues, but I also don’t need their help often. The platform is intuitive enough that I figure most things out myself.
The main thing is to not treat rebates as your safety net for choosing a broker. Choose the broker first based on trading conditions, then the rebates are a bonus. In RoboForex’s case, conditions are decent and rebates help, so it’s a reasonable choice. But if conditions were mediocre, the rebates wouldn’t make it worth it.
