IG support frustration: is it worth trading there if responsiveness matters to you?

I’ve been considering IG as my next broker, but I keep reading these stories about their support being really slow or unhelpful. Some people say they eventually get answers, but it takes days. Others mention that simple questions get complicated responses that don’t actually solve the problem.

I trade actively, so responsive support matters to me. If I have an issue during market hours or need to verify something before entering a position, waiting 48 hours isn’t realistic.

I’ve looked at the GlobeGain community reviews and expert Q&A sections for IG, and there’s definitely a pattern of mixed experiences. Some traders seem fine with it, but others are clearly frustrated.

I’m trying to understand if IG’s support issues are just part of the package you accept with their trading conditions, or if it’s actually a sign to look elsewhere. Like, is it worth dealing with slower support if their rebates through GlobeGain and their platform are solid? Or should I prioritize brokers that are just more responsive across the board?

What’s been your actual experience? Does IG’s support system get in the way of your trading, or have you found workarounds that make it manageable?
