How would a beginner actually choose between exness and other beginner-friendly brokers?

I’m completely new to forex trading and I’m trying to figure out which broker to start with. I keep seeing Exness recommended online, but I also see recommendations for other brokers targeted at beginners like IC Markets, Avatar Trade, and FBS.

I’m not looking for a broker that claims to be the best. I just want to know what actually matters when I’m picking my first broker as someone who barely knows what I’m doing.

From what I understand, I should be looking at things like:

  • Safety and regulation (like, what does regulation actually protect me from?)
  • Ease of use for someone who’s never traded before
  • Whether customer support is actually helpful when I get stuck
  • What it costs to actually trade there

I’ve heard rebates mentioned but I don’t really understand how they work yet. Does it matter for a total beginner, or is that something to think about later?

What would you look at if you were picking your very first broker? And how does Exness actually stack up for someone just starting out?

Pick regulated broker. Start with demo first. Then real account.

Low minimum deposit matters. Good customer support helps. Exness is fine.

For beginners, regulation is job number one. It means your money is in a segregated account if the broker fails. Exness is regulated by the FCA and ASIC, which are solid regulators. That’s better than some competitors.

Second priority is education. Does the broker offer tutorials or webinars for beginners? Exness has a learning center but it’s not exceptional. IC Markets and Avatar Trade have decent beginner education too.

Third is trading costs. Rebates don’t matter much for beginners because you’re not doing high volume yet. A simple account with low minimum deposit is what you need. Exness allows account opening with $10 which is fine.

Fourth is customer support. You’ll have questions. Test their support before funding your account. Email them a question as a prospect.

Don’t choose based on marketing or recommendations. Choose based on: regulated, good support, low minimum, and easy platform. Exness meets all four. So do IC Markets and FBS. Any of them work for starting out.

One thing beginners get wrong: they think rebates are about saving money. They’re not, for beginners. Rebates matter when your trading volume is high enough that 0.5 pips per trade adds up to real dollars.

As a beginner, focus on learning, not on squeezing pennies from rebates. Pick a regulated broker with good education and support. Make that your priority. Rebates are a bonus later when you’ve proven you can actually trade profitably.

When I was starting out, I picked Exness because the minimum deposit was low and I found the MT5 platform easy to understand. The regulation gave me peace of mind too.

I’d say if you’re a beginner: pick a regulated broker, practice on the demo account until you’re comfortable, then start with the smallest possible real account. Exness works fine for that.

Don’t worry about rebates yet. Just learn how to trade first. Everything else comes later.

Exness is beginner-friendly. Regulated, easy platform, low minimum. Good starting point honestly.

One more thing: don’t switch brokers multiple times in your first year. That’s what kills beginners. They jump from broker to broker chasing some perfect platform that doesn’t exist.

Exness is fine, IC Markets is fine, Avatar is fine. Pick one, learn on it for at least 6 months, then evaluate. Moving around constantly ruins your learning progress.

I see beginners fail because of broker-hopping, not because they picked the “wrong” broker. Choose something regulated with decent support and stick with it while you learn.
