How reliable is IC Markets' withdrawal process and support if something goes wrong?

I’m getting closer to choosing a broker and IC Markets keeps coming up in conversations, but I keep hitting the same question that doesn’t get answered clearly: how reliable is their withdrawal process actually? I don’t care much about trading features if I can’t trust that my money will come back out when I need it.

I’ve seen some people mention withdrawal delays, but I don’t know if that was months ago or recent. I’ve also seen people say support was slow to respond, but again, no timeline or details about what actually happened.

I’m specifically curious about: how long does a typical withdrawal actually take from IC Markets? Are there circumstances that make it slower - like certain payment methods or account types? And if something goes wrong, how responsive is their support team? Like, if a withdrawal gets stuck, can you actually reach someone who helps resolve it, or are you just stuck waiting?

I figure GlobeGain’s community could have answered this by now since there are probably traders here with real recent experience. Has anyone withdrawn from IC Markets in the last few months? What was your actual timeline and experience with their support when you got the money out?

Withdrew from IC Markets twice in the last 3 months. Both times took 3-4 business days. First withdrawal was bank transfer, second was to my debit card. Debit card was slightly faster.

I didn’t have issues but I’ve heard from other traders that weekends slow things down. If you submit Thursday evening, you might not see it until the following Tuesday.

Support was helpful when I asked about withdrawal status. Responded within 6 hours via email, confirmed my request was processing. They gave a specific timeline instead of generic “we’re working on it” answer.

One thing: make sure your withdrawal method matches your deposit method. IC Markets is stricter on this than some brokers. If you deposited by card, withdraw to the same card. It reduces rejection risks that require back and forth with support.

IC Markets withdrawal reliability varies by payment method. Bank transfers typically take 3-5 business days. E-wallets like Skrill can be faster but depend on your bank. Crypto withdrawals are nearly instant. The issue isn’t usually IC Markets being slow, it’s your bank being slow in the chain. Support responds reasonably if you ask for confirmation of request submission. However, if a withdrawal gets rejected - usually due to AML checks or account verification missing something - response time can stretch. Keep your account verification current to avoid this.

Bank transfer three to five days typically.

I’ve withdrawn twice from IC Markets and both times it was honestly fine. Took about 4 days from request to money in my account.

I think the key thing is their support is responsive if you ask questions upfront. Like, I sent them a message asking what documents they needed before I even submitted the withdrawal. They responded quickly and I had everything ready, so the process was smooth.

I’d say the experience depends on how prepared you are. If you have all verification done and use a standard payment method, it’s straightforward.

Three to five days from my experience. Support replies same day usually.

One more practical note: if you’re building a longer track record with IC Markets through GlobeGain rebates, your account gains history. That actually makes withdrawals faster over time because your account gets less scrutiny. High-risk accounts get held up more for verification. Regular trading with consistent deposits and withdrawals signals legitimacy to their risk team.
