What’s your approach when you find a manager you actually trust?
I usually put 10-15% with a new manager, even if their track record looks great.
What really matters is how they communicate when things get rough and whether they actually stick to their risk limits when real money’s at stake.
If they stay consistent for a few months, I’ll bump it up to 25% max. That’s my hard limit for any single manager.
