I’m looking at opening an account with FBS and I want to understand their customer support experience before I commit. Like, when you have a real problem, do they actually help you, or are you just waiting in a queue and getting generic responses?
I’ve heard mixed things. Some people say they’re responsive, others mention slow response times. I’m trying to figure out if that’s just people complaining online or if it’s a real pattern.
Also, I’m wondering if the community’s feedback on GlobeGain about FBS support has been useful for you. Like, does knowing what other traders experienced actually help you decide whether to trade there?
What’s your actual experience with FBS support when you needed help?
I had an issue with a withdrawal that was delayed by a day and contacted FBS support. Response time was about 2 hours via live chat. They checked my account and asked for verification documents.
Once I submitted those, they processed the withdrawal within a few hours. Not the fastest, but transparent.
I also contacted them about a platform glitch and got help within an hour. Their support speaks English well and understands forex issues, which matters.
Compared to IC Markets where I sometimes wait 20 minutes, FBS is slower but not terrible. I’d say average for a mid-tier broker.
FBS support depends on your channel. Live chat is usually 30 minutes to 2 hours during business hours. Email takes 24 hours typically.
They handle technical issues better than account problems. If you have a question about your balance or fees, responses are slower because those get escalated.
One advantage: they staff support in multiple languages and time zones. If you’re trading Asian hours, you’ll get faster response than some other brokers.
For comparison, XM is faster but FPS isn’t notably slower. Main thing is don’t expect instant answers on account issues.
I’ve contacted FBS support a couple of times and they were helpful. Nothing bad to report. One time I had a question about account types and got a clear answer within a few hours.
The other time I needed help with a platform issue and they walked me through it. They seem to actually understand forex, which is nice.
I think the community feedback on GlobeGain helps because you get real trader experiences instead of just reading broker reviews that might be biased. Knowing what actually happened to other people is more useful than marketing claims.
FBS support response is okay. Usually a couple hours on live chat. Not the best, not terrible.
FBS support took 2 hours answering my question.
Live chat works better than email for FBS.
