I’m trying to understand my actual profitability with FBS when I factor in everything. The trading costs are one thing, but then there’s the withdrawal side. I’ve read that some traders get their money back quickly, others wait a week or more. Some say there are hidden fees involved.
If I’m profitable on the trading side but my withdrawals get delayed or there are unexpected fees, that changes the math. And I’m wondering whether the rebates from GlobeGain would actually help offset any of that if it happens.
What’s your honest experience with FBS withdrawals? How long did it actually take? Were there any fees? And if costs showed up, did the rebates you earned actually help cover them?
Withdrawal fees at FBS depend on your payment method. Bank transfer usually takes 5-7 days with no fee. E-wallet methods are faster, sometimes 24-48 hours, but fees vary by provider.
Here’s the real point: rebates only offset trading costs, not withdrawal fees. Your rebates are your profit from trading volume. Withdrawal delays cost you opportunity cost, not direct fees most of the time.
If FBS holds your withdrawal for 10 days while the market moves 500 pips in your favor direction, that delay cost you real money. Rebates don’t fix that.
Check FBS’s withdrawal policy before opening an account. If you need fast access to capital, FBS isn’t the ideal choice. Some brokers are noticeably quicker. That matters more than rebates.
I’ve withdrawn from FBS multiple times. Here’s what actually happened:
My first withdrawal was via bank transfer. It took exactly 6 days. No fees from FBS, but my bank charged me a small wire fee on their end, about $10.
Second withdrawal was through Skrill. Much faster, about 30 hours. There was a 2% withdrawal fee from FBS on that one.
The rebates I earned through GlobeGain covered maybe 20-30% of my trading costs over a month. They helped, but they didn’t cover withdrawal fees when they happened.
My strategy now is to withdraw less frequently. I keep capital in the account and only pull out profits monthly. That way withdrawal fees matter less because I’m only paying them once per month instead of weekly.
The delays never actually hurt me because I wasn’t waiting for that money for other trades. But if you need quick access, bank transfer isn’t the answer with FBS.
I’ve been withdrawing from FBS for a while now, and it’s been pretty straightforward actually.
Bank transfer usually takes 5-6 business days. I haven’t seen hidden fees from FBS themselves, but your bank might charge you something on their end.
Crypto withdrawal is faster if you have a wallet set up. That’s been more reliable for me when I need money quicker.
The rebates don’t directly offset withdrawal costs, but if you’re profitable on the trading side, the rebates do add to your overall return. So a $50 withdrawal fee stings less if you also made $200 back in rebates that month.
I wouldn’t stress too much about withdrawal times unless you’re very short on cash. As long as you plan ahead and don’t need the money immediately, it’s fine.
Withdrawals took about a week for me. Seemed normal. No weird fees.
Bank transfer slow. Crypto faster. Rebates help total return.
One thing I should mention: track your withdrawal timing based on your trading goals. If you’re building capital in the account, withdrawal speed matters less. If you’re trying to cycle money in and out constantly, FBS becomes inefficient because of the 5-7 day waits.
Rebates help your profitability, but they don’t speed up withdrawals. Choose your broker based on withdrawal speed if that’s important to your strategy.
I just leave the money in the account mostly.
