Exness versus ic markets: which broker actually wins on reliability, withdrawals, and total cost?

I keep seeing both Exness and IC Markets recommended, but I’m not sure how they actually stack up against each other. They’re both legitimate, but I want to know where one is genuinely better based on real experience.

Specifically, I’m curious about: platform stability during volatile markets, actual withdrawal speed and reliability, and when you factor in rebates, which one gives you the better total cost of trading.

I know every trader has different needs, but are there situations where one is clearly the better choice? What’s your honest comparison based on what you’ve actually experienced with both?

IC Markets tighter spreads. Exness better withdraw policy. Test both.

IC Markets for scalping. Exness for swing trading.

They’re different tools for different traders. IC Markets has tighter spreads and lower commissions, making them better for high volume traders and scalpers. Exness has wider spreads but simpler account structures and faster withdrawal processing. For cost, if you’re trading 100+ lots weekly, IC Markets edges out Exness. If you’re trading 10-20 lots weekly, the difference shrinks. Platform stability during news: both handle it well. IC Markets sometimes sees minor spikes but recovery is fast. Exness is consistent. Withdrawals: IC Markets usually 1-2 business days, Exness 24 hours. Rebates help both, but don’t flip the decision on their own.

The comparison shifts based on your account type. IC Markets’ Pro account with ECN execution is excellent for active traders willing to pay commission. Exness’ standard account is simpler if you want to keep things straightforward. I’ve tested both. IC Markets felt slightly faster on execution for news trades. Exness felt more stable on infrastructure. For total cost factoring rebates, they’re closer than most think. IC Markets might save you 0.2 pips on average, but Exness’ faster withdrawals save you time which has value too.

I’ve used both for about a year each. IC Markets feels slightly faster if you’re scalping, but the complexity of their commissions wore on me after a while. Exness felt simpler to track and understand.

Withdrawals from both work fine, but Exness was faster. From IC Markets I’d wait 2-3 days. From Exness usually overnight.

For my swing trading style, Exness won out. Simpler, just as reliable, and rebates help offset the slightly wider spreads.

Neither one will disappoint you reliability wise. They’re both solid brokers. It really comes down to what matters more to you: tighter spreads and commissions or simpler account structures and faster withdrawals.

Test both on demo for two weeks. One will feel more natural for your style. That’s your answer.

Both good. IC Markets if you scalp. Exness if you swing trade. Simple.

Cost comparison I did recently: trading 30 lots per week on EUR/USD

IC Markets: 0.4 pip spread plus 2 pip commission minus 0.3 rebate = 2.1 pip cost per position

Exness: 0.9 pip spread minus 0.3 rebate = 0.6 pip cost per position

Exness wins for my volume. But if I was at 100+ lots per week, IC Markets would probably edge it out because the commission scales better. Platform stability doesn’t favors either. Withdrawals: Exness 24 hours, IC Markets 2-3 days. Both legit, depends on your style.
