Exness versus ic markets: which broker actually delivers on reliability and support?

I’m trying to narrow down my broker choice and I keep seeing Exness and IC Markets mentioned in these threads. Both have decent rebate partnerships with GlobeGain, but I want to know which one actually performs better on the things that matter most: reliability and customer support.

I care less about flashy features and more about whether the broker is stable, responsive when something goes wrong, and honest about costs. Spreads and commission structures matter too, but I’m looking for the fundamentals here.

I’ve seen community feedback about both, but it’s scattered across different posts. I’d like to get a side-by-side comparison from people who’ve actually used both. What are the real differences in how they handle withdrawals? How do their platforms compare during stressful market conditions? When you contact support, who responds faster and actually solves your problem?

Also, how do the rebates work on each platform? Are they easy to track and do they pay out reliably?

If you’ve tried both, which one would you choose and why?

Exness faster withdrawals. IC Markets tighter spreads. Pick your priority.

Both reliable. Exness better support responsiveness.

Side by side comparison on fundamentals:

Withdrawals: Exness averages 20 to 24 hours. IC Markets averages 24 to 48 hours. Exness wins here.

Spreads: IC Markets runs tighter on major pairs, averaging 0.6 to 0.9 pips. Exness ranges 0.8 to 1.2 pips. IC Markets advantage.

Rebates: Both calculate based on volume. Both pay reliably. No material difference.

Support: Exness responds within 2 to 4 hours. IC Markets typically 4 to 8 hours. Exness edges out.

Platform stability: Both solid. No significant difference in reliability during volatility.

Pick Exness if you value fast withdrawals and responsive support. Pick IC Markets if you want tighter spreads and don’t mind slightly longer withdrawal times. For most traders, the spread difference compounds to matter more than withdrawal speed.

Calculate your personal cost: For 20 lots monthly on EUR/USD, if IC Markets averages 0.2 pips tighter than Exness, that’s 40 dollars in savings over a month. The withdrawal speed advantage doesn’t directly save you money. So IC Markets usually wins on total cost when you run the numbers.

I’ve used both for trading. Exness feels faster overall. Withdrawals arrive quicker, support responds faster, and the platform feels snappier.

IC Markets isn’t slow, but it’s noticeably less quick. That said, IC Markets spreads are tighter, so if you’re making lots of trades, that advantage adds up.

Depends on what matters more to you.

I personally prefer Exness because I value not waiting around for withdrawals. The rebates and support quality are similar, so for me it comes down to that speed factor.

But I have friends who trade IC Markets and love it because their spread costs are lower.

Both good. Exness faster. IC Markets cheaper spreads.

Support is fine on both. Withdrawals slightly better on Exness.

My choice: Exness. The speed and responsiveness were worth the slightly higher spreads. For me, the peace of mind of faster withdrawals and quicker support responses justified the small cost difference.

But if you’re a high volume trader, IC Markets math works better. Calculate which spread advantage offsets Exness’s speed advantage for your specific trading volume and decide from there.
