crypto prediction calculator accuracy, anyone tested it?

Been seeing these crypto prediction calculators pop up everywhere lately. Some claim 70-80% accuracy rates which sounds too good to be true.

Wondering if anyone here has actually put them through real trading scenarios and what the results were like.

I back tested one of these calculators against my trading records from last year. The results were interesting.

It nailed entry points about 60% of the time, which matched my manual picks. However, it completely bombed on exit timing for most trades.

Crypto’s too fast for these tools. They can’t keep up with momentum shifts. By the time they signal a reversal, you’ve already missed it.

It’s better to learn what drives price movement instead of relying on automated predictions.

Tested two last year. Both failed during volatility spikes.

Tried a few of these in 2019 when I was learning to trade crypto. The accuracy claims? Total BS.

These calculators just dress up basic technical indicators with fancy algorithms. They can’t account for market sentiment, news events, or whale movements - the stuff that actually moves crypto prices.

I paper-traded one for three months. It got maybe 6 out of 15 major Bitcoin moves right. The losses from wrong calls would’ve killed any gains from the correct ones.

Skip them. Learn support/resistance levels and volume patterns instead - much more reliable than calculators promising easy money.

Tried three calculators over six months. Hit rate was around 45-55%, way below their claimed 70-80%. They’re decent with trends but get wrecked in sideways action and sudden reversals. The lag kills you - signals come too late to actually trade. You see the alert, place the order, and the move’s already done. Just learn price action instead. These things crunch numbers you can read yourself anyway.

Most are just moving averages with extra steps. Save your money and use free indicators instead.
