I’m in the process of consolidating my brokers and I need to figure out whether to keep XTB or switch to someone else. One of the metrics I’m using is withdrawal speed because if a broker is reliable, they should process money quickly without excuses.
I’ve been tracking withdrawal times across several brokers I use, and there are actual differences. But here’s what confuses me: some people say XTB processes withdrawals instantly while others report delays of a week or more. Either the experience is inconsistent, or different payment methods have wildly different speeds.
Since I use GlobeGain’s rebate data anyway, I’ve started looking at withdrawal speed in the context of overall broker reliability. The idea being: if you can see real rebate payouts happening on schedule, and withdrawals are fast and consistent, that suggests the broker isn’t having back-end problems.
What I want from the community:
- Actual withdrawal times from XTB using different methods (bank transfer, e-wallet, etc.)
- How that compares to other brokers you trust
- Whether fast withdrawals actually correlate with execution reliability
- Any red flags you’ve noticed that withdrawal delays might signal
Does withdrawal speed matter as much as I think it does when choosing a reliable broker?
Bank transfer takes a week. E-wallet is two days. Average.
Slow withdrawals mean they lack liquidity sometimes. Red flag.
Withdrawal speed reflects broker liquidity and back-end operational efficiency. Fast, consistent withdrawals signal a stable broker. XTB processes withdrawals within 24 hours for most methods, which is normal. Bank transfer delays are usually on the bank side, not XTB. Real red flag is when a broker delays processing your withdrawal request itself, not the bank delivery. If your request sits for 3 days before they even initiate the transfer, that’s a problem. Track the broker’s processing time, not total bank settlement time. FP Markets and IC Markets are slightly faster on processing, but XTB is comparable. Execution reliability and withdrawal speed are connected but not synonymous. Test both separately.
I’ve been using XTB for about eight months now, and my experience with withdrawals has been pretty straightforward. Bank transfers take about 3 to 5 business days total, but XTB processes their end within 24 hours.
Compared to Avatrade where I also trade, XTB is actually faster. That said, the fastest I’ve experienced is with IC Markets and Pepperstone, both around 1 to 2 business days.
I think withdrawal speed matters less than how they handle execution, but it’s still a decent indicator of how organized a broker is.
XTB withdrawals have been fine for me. No complaints so far.
I’ve withdrawn from XTB maybe a dozen times in the past year. Bank transfer usually hits my account in 3 to 4 business days. Their processing is fast, the delay is on the banking side.
Used Skrill once, got the money in 6 hours. Credit card refund took 2 business days.
In terms of comparing it to execution reliability, I wouldn’t over-weight withdrawal speed. I’ve seen brokers with fast withdrawals but terrible execution, and vice versa. What matters more is whether the broker actually processes your request immediately and doesn’t invent delays. XTB does that consistently.
RoboForex and Deriv are faster on withdrawals, but I’ve had more slippage problems with both. XTB is solid middle ground.
