I’m trying to decide between FXPro, IC Markets, and Pepperstone for my main trading account, and withdrawal reliability is a pretty big factor for me. I want to understand if there’s a real difference in how fast each broker actually processes withdrawals, or if they’re all roughly the same.
I know there are different withdrawal methods and account types, and I’m wondering if one of these brokers has a clear advantage. I’m specifically interested in bank transfer processing times, but I’m also open to learning about e-wallet options if they’re significantly faster.
Has anyone here traded with more than one of these brokers and actually compared how long withdrawals took? I want to know not just the advertised processing time, but what people have really experienced. Are there any bottlenecks or verification delays that are more common with one broker than the others?
IC Markets fastest. Pepperstone close second. FXPro slower.
E-wallets faster than wire on all three.
Difference is usually one or two days max.
Real data from my experience over the last two years:
IC Markets: Fees are transparently displayed, verifications complete within 2 days, withdrawals process same day if verified. I’ve done 18 withdrawals, never delayed.
Pepperstone: Good execution, slightly slower on the administrative side. Verification is maybe 1-2 days slower than IC. Withdrawals typically 3 days.
FXPro: Slower verification process overall. But once your account is cleared, withdrawals are normal. Plan for 4-5 days, and you won’t be surprised.
The actual difference in your pocket over a year is probably a few hundred dollars in interest (if you care about that). Not worth choosing a worse broker just to save 2 days on withdrawals.
IC Markets is fastest. FXPro is slowest. Pepperstone is middle.
Tested all three with real withdrawals over several months. IC Markets definitely processes fastest on average, around 2 business days. Pepperstone usually takes 3-4 days, FXPro 4-5 days.
But here’s what really matters: the spread between their withdrawal times isn’t as big a deal as you’d think. If you’re an active trader making money consistently, a 2-3 day difference every month or two isn’t going to drastically change your situation.
IC Markets has an edge if you need rapid access to capital. But all three are reputably managed. I’d focus more on which platform feels smoother for your trading style and which rebate rates work better for you through GlobeGain.
