Comparing FxPro to IC Markets and Pepperstone—which one actually delivers on both withdrawal speed and trading conditions?

I’m at the point where I’m thinking about switching brokers or opening additional accounts, and I want to compare more than just withdrawal times. It doesn’t make sense to move to a faster broker if the trading conditions are worse.

I’ve seen FxPro mentioned a lot in withdrawal discussions, but people also talk about IC Markets and Pepperstone. I want to know what traders actually use and why. Is IC Markets faster because they’re just better at processing, or do they have something else going for them? What about spreads, execution quality, and how rebates fit in?

I’m using GlobeGain for cashback so the rebate opportunity is there across any broker. But I’d rather make a decision based on real trading experience rather than reviews. What’s your genuine experience been with two or more of these brokers—what made you stick with one or switch?

IC Markets best spreads Pepperstone best customer support.

FxPro fine for most traders honestly.

IC Markets and Pepperstone are both stronger than FxPro on execution, but for different reasons.

IC Markets: tightest spreads, especially on major pairs. 0.0 pip spreads on EUR/USD with commission. Withdrawal speed is similar to FxPro—5-7 days for bank transfer. Their advantage is consistent execution with no slippage.

Pepperstone: slightly wider spreads than IC Markets, but faster withdrawals (3-4 days average). Customer support is significantly better. Good for traders prioritizing reliability over absolute tightest spreads.

FxPro: competitive spreads, decent platform, but slower withdrawals. Execution is fine for swing traders, not ideal for scalpers.

For rebates, all three work with GlobeGain or similar services. Calculate your real cost: spread + commission - rebate = actual trading cost. IC Markets often wins on this despite higher commission because spreads justify it.

Choose based on your strategy: IC Markets for scalping, Pepperstone for reliability, FxPro if withdrawal speed isn’t critical.

I’ve used FxPro and Pepperstone for about eight months each. Pepperstone’s withdrawal process felt smoother—support responded faster when I had questions, and money actually came back quicker.

The spreads were similar between both. I didn’t notice a huge difference in execution either. For me, Pepperstone’s support quality made the difference. FxPro’s reasonable, but Pepperstone felt more responsive.

IC Markets I experimented with briefly. Spreads were tighter but the platform interface felt clunky compared to the other two. Might just be me though.

All three work fine with rebates. Just pick what feels most reliable to you.

All three are solid brokers. IC Markets has tight spreads Pepperstone has good support FxPro is somewhere in between.

I’ve traded with all three over the past few years. Here’s what actually matters:

FxPro: decent all-arounder. Spreads are competitive, platform stable, withdrawals acceptable. Not the best at anything but reliable.

IC Markets: if you’re scalping or trading high volume, the tighter spreads justify the commission. Real cost after rebates is lower than FxPro. Withdrawals similar speed, but execution quality is noticeably better—less slippage on entries.

Pepperstone: solid middle ground. Spreads reasonable, support genuinely responsive, withdrawals fastest of the three (3-4 days average). Worth the minor spread disadvantage if withdrawal reliability matters to you.

For a practical choice: if you scalp, IC Markets. If you want peace of mind, Pepperstone. If you want simplicity, FxPro works fine.

Don’t overthink it. All three are regulated and trustworthy. Real money difference comes from your strategy execution, not the broker. Use whichever feels most comfortable.

I tested all three specifically for withdrawal experience. FxPro averaged 5.2 days, Pepperstone 3.8 days, IC Markets 5.1 days. Pepperstone stood out because of speed plus support quality.

But here’s the thing nobody mentions: your actual trading costs include slippage, and that’s where real differences show up.

IC Markets: tight spreads but you feel slippage during volatile moments—unexpected, not huge, but it happens. Still ahead after rebates.

Pepperstone: spreads slightly wider but execution cleaner. Fewer surprises during news.

FxPro: middle of both. Sometimes you get clean execution, sometimes you don’t.

My recommendation: open accounts at IC Markets and Pepperstone, test both for two weeks with small positions. See where you lose less money to slippage. That’ll tell you more than any online review ever could. Withdrawal speed is important but execution quality affects your actual profit.
