I’m stuck between Exness and IC Markets and I want to stop guessing and just ask people who’ve used both.
I know both are regulated and both have decent reputations, but I’m trying to understand the actual differences that matter for trading:
- Spread comparison: which one is actually tighter most of the time?
- Execution: which platform feels more stable during volatile markets?
- Customer support: have you actually needed help, and did you get it?
- Withdrawal experience: any real differences in how fast or smooth the process is?
- Overall cost once you factor in GlobeGain rebates: which one wins?
I’m not looking for marketing talk. I want to know what real traders experience. If one is clearly better for a specific style of trading, that matters to me.
Has anyone actually traded with both and can give an honest comparison?
Used both for about three years each. IC Markets earlier, then switched to Exness.
Exness has slightly tighter spreads on major pairs, maybe 0.2 to 0.3 pips better on average. IC Markets has the edge on exotic pairs if you need those.
Execution quality is similar. Both use fast servers and no requotes. Slippage is minimal on both when markets aren’t crazy.
Support: IC Markets was faster responding to questions. Exness support is decent but sometimes takes longer. That said, I needed support less frequently with Exness because the platform is more intuitive.
Withdrawals are roughly the same speed. Both reliable.
Total cost with rebates favors Exness slightly because their spreads start tighter. Over a month of active trading, you save maybe 10 to 20 dollars per 10 lots traded. Not huge, but it adds up.
I’d say pick based on which platform feels better to you personally. Technical difference is small.
Both are regulated brokers with solid infrastructure. Here’s the practical difference.
IC Markets: strong on exotic pairs, great for swing traders, slightly higher spreads on majors but very consistent.
Exness: tighter spreads on majors, better for scalpers and day traders, slightly less exotic pair variety.
For most traders using major pairs like EUR/USD and GBP/USD, Exness edges out IC Markets on cost. Add GlobeGain rebates and Exness wins by about 15 percent on total cost for that use case.
Customer support leans toward IC Markets if you need quick responses. Exness is adequate but slower.
Both platforms are stable. No clear winner on execution during volatility.
Decision: if you trade majors and scalp or day trade, choose Exness. If you prefer exotic pairs or swing trading, IC Markets is solid.
I’ve dabbled with both. Exness feels smoother for everyday trading. Spreads are competitive and you get the rebates applied easily.
IC Markets is also good but I found myself checking spreads more often. Exness just feels consistent.
For beginner traders or part-time traders, I’d lean Exness. Less mental overhead.
Both work fine. Exness had slightly better spreads when I compared. Support was okay at both.
Honestly both are good. Just try the demo first.
