Weekend trading’s been a waste of time in my experience. Spent 6 months trying it early on, thinking I’d found some edge.
Sure, spreads are wide, but the real killer is watching your moves get crushed when London opens Monday. Happened to me multiple times - positions looked solid over the weekend, then got wrecked first thing Monday morning.
Major news events are different - elections, economic chaos, that stuff. But you’re still trading on garbage volume, so it’s a crapshoot.
I’d rather spend weekends analyzing charts and planning the week ahead. Way better use of time than trying to milk dead markets.
