can you survive scalping with limited market knowledge?

Been thinking about jumping into scalping but honestly my market knowledge is pretty basic right now.

Wondering if anyone here started scalping without being a complete expert first. Did you manage to stay profitable or was it a disaster?

You’ll probably lose money fast without proper knowledge. Scalping needs quick decisions and good risk management.

Scalping with basic knowledge is possible but requires discipline. I’ve seen traders succeed by keeping it simple - focus on one major pair like EUR/USD during London or New York sessions. Use tiny position sizes while learning. Your broker choice matters more than you think. Tight spreads and fast execution are critical for scalping profits. Start with demo trading to build speed and confidence. Don’t risk more than you can afford to lose completely.

Started scalping after two months of basics and survived fine.
