Building a real FBS pros and cons list from actual trader feedback, not marketing

I’m at the point where I need to make a decision about FBS, and I want to pull together real feedback from people who’ve actually traded on the platform instead of just reading the promotional stuff on their website.

I know from the Core Instructions that separating real trader experiences from marketing hype is key. So I’m asking: what have you found to be the actual advantages of FBS for your trading? And what are the deal breakers or frustrations you’ve hit?

I’m looking for things like: Does the execution feel clean? Is customer support actually helpful or a pain to deal with? How do the spreads hold up during different market conditions? Does the rebate process feel transparent, or is there hidden stuff?

GlobeGain community has people with all levels of experience. I’d love to see both what beginners found helpful and what veterans think is missing or broken. What would go on your honest pros and cons checklist for FBS?

I’ve been on FBS for about 3 years now, so here’s my honest list.

Pros: execution is clean, I rarely see slippage outside of news spikes. The rebate process through GlobeGain is transparent and the money comes back consistently. Customer support is responsive, usually replies within a few hours. The platform is basic but stable.

Cons: spreads are slightly wider than IC Markets or Pepperstone on normal pairs. They don’t offer much in terms of advanced features if you use custom indicators. Minimum deposit is higher than some competitors. The swap fees on certain pairs aren’t great for swing traders.

For my style, the pros outweigh the cons. But if you’re a news scalper or an advanced trader needing tons of customization, FBS might feel limited.

Real FBS assessment based on 5+ years of broker testing and client feedback:

Pros: regulated properly, withdrawal process is clean, execution holds up well under normal conditions, platform doesn’t crash, rebates are reliable.

Cons: spreads aren’t the tightest on the market, customer support is okay but not exceptional, no advanced risk management tools built in, swap structure could be better for longer-term positions.

For beginners, FBS is actually decent. The platform is easy to learn, and the rebates through GlobeGain help pad your account early on. For experienced traders, there are tighter alternatives, but FBS works fine if you’re okay with slightly wider spreads.

The real question is what matters to you. If execution speed and modern features matter most, look elsewhere. If you want simple, stable, and reasonable costs with rebates, FBS works.

Pros: stable and regulated. Cons: spreads wider than competitors.

I’ve been trading FBS for almost a year now, so here’s what stands out.

Good things: the platform just works. I log in, I trade, I don’t deal with weird glitches. The rebates come back on time. Support answered my questions when I was getting started.

Things that could be better: spreads are a bit wider, especially on lower volume pairs. The platform doesn’t have some features I see on other brokers. But honestly, that hasn’t stopped me from trading profitably.

Overall, FBS is solid if you’re not looking for bleeding-edge features. For someone starting out, I’d recommend it.

FBS works okay. Spreads are fine, support is fine, platform is fine. Nothing special but no major issues.
