I’m trying to build a real cost breakdown for RoboForex account types and I’m finding it harder than it should be. The sites show spreads and commission but they don’t show you the full picture.
Here’s what I need to figure out: If I open a Standard account and trade 50 lots monthly on EUR/USD, what’s my actual cost after I factor in GlobeGain rebates?
I saw some posts here mentioning that spreads are just part of the equation. There’s also slippage sometimes, fees I might not be seeing, and withdrawal costs. Then the rebate comes on top.
I want a real breakdown, not marketing numbers. Like, Standard account with X spread, minus Y rebate, equals Z actual cost per lot.
Has anyone actually built out this calculation for their own trading on RoboForex? What are the real numbers you’re seeing?
Spread plus commission minus rebate equals total cost.
RoboForex Standard cheaper than Pro for low volume.
Track your actual costs for one month first.
I did this calculation for my own account three months ago. Started with Standard on RoboForex and tracked everything in a spreadsheet.
For my 30-40 lots monthly on EUR/USD, my actual cost came to about $800-1000 after rebates. The rebate was smaller than I expected but still worth having.
The key thing I learned is that your spread matters most. Focus on finding the lowest spread for your pair, then add the rebate on top. Everything else is usually negligible.
Just open an account and track it yourself for a month. That’s the real answer.
I’ve been tracking RoboForex costs for 8+ years, so I can give you exact breakdown.
Standard account on EUR/USD at 50 lots monthly:
Spread cost: 1.0 pips × 50 lots = $500
Commission: $0
GlobeGain rebate: 0.4 pips average = $200
Net cost: $300 monthly
Pro account same volume:
Spread: 0.6 pips = $300
Fees: $150 (monthly fee structure)
Rebate: $200
Net cost: $250 monthly
Looks like Pro wins, but here’s the catch: Pro requires minimum monthly volume (usually 100+ lots) to be worth it. Under that, Standard is nearly always cheaper.
Withdrawals are free. Slippage on Standard is minimal during normal hours. That’s your full picture. Track your first month’s actual rebate payout from GlobeGain to verify the numbers match reality.
