Been trading for a while but still miss obvious setups when the market moves fast.
Looking for a solid cheat sheet that covers the main patterns without being cluttered with too much theory. Something I can glance at during active sessions.
What have you guys found actually useful?
Many cheat sheets are too busy during trading. I recommend printing key candlestick patterns and trend lines on one page. Place it near your monitor and you will learn to recognize them quickly. Focus on keeping your charts clean and simple. Reducing clutter helps you see the patterns better.
Skip the fancy cheat sheets. Make your own with 3-4 patterns you actually trade well. I keep a simple notecard taped to my monitor - support/resistance levels, basic flags, and key reversals. That’s it. The problem isn’t recognizing patterns. It’s getting paralyzed by too many choices. When markets move fast, you need muscle memory, not some reference guide. Practice the same setups over and over until you spot them instantly. Better to master 3 patterns than fumble with 20.
Babypips has a decent one page pattern guide that works.
