As a beginner, how do I pick a RoboForex account type without overspending while I'm learning?

I’m brand new to forex trading and I’ve been looking at RoboForex because the spread costs seem reasonable. But I’m seeing all these different account types and I have no idea which one I should start with.

My concern is that I don’t want to pick something that bleeds money just because I don’t understand the cost structure yet. Like, I want to learn without throwing away cash every time I make a mistake or the market moves against me.

I’ve heard about GlobeGain rebates and how they can reduce costs, and that sounds good, but I’m not even sure how rebates work or if they apply to beginner accounts. I also don’t know if I should start with the lowest cost option or if there’s something else I should be looking for.

What should a complete beginner actually focus on when picking a RoboForex account? Is it really just about lowest spreads or should I be thinking about other things? And can rebates actually make a difference when you’re starting out with small positions?

Start with Standard account on RoboForex. Simple execution, straightforward costs, rebates apply immediately.

Focus on three things: spread size, rebate rate, and position size. With GlobeGain, beginners get rebates from day one, so that reduces your actual cost per trade.

Don’t worry about Pro or Elite accounts yet. Standard is designed for learning. Your real cost will be one pip spread plus rebate reduction. That’s enough to learn on.

Set a monthly loss limit, not a dollar limit. Learn position sizing first. Small position costs very little regardless of account type. Your first month should be about understanding how orders execute, not maximizing rebates.

Once you’ve done 50+ trades and understand slippage, spreads, and news impact, then optimize account type. Right now, simplicity saves money.

I started on a Standard account too and that was the right call.

Beginner accounts or lower-tier options exist for a reason. Spreads are wider but that’s actually good when you’re learning because it forces you to think bigger about stops and targets instead of worrying about tiny movements.

Rebates do apply and they help. Even on small positions, the cashback adds up. GlobeGain makes it clear what you’ll get, so it’s not a surprise.

Focus on learning position sizing and risk management first. Account type optimization comes later.

Started on RoboForex Standard as a beginner and it worked fine. Spreads are around 1 pip on major pairs, rebates came through monthly, and I wasn’t overthinking everything.

Main thing I wish I’d known: rebates don’t make bad trades good. I was chasing a few extra pips in rebate thinking it offset mistakes. It doesn’t. Focus on stops and entry logic first.

Once I had three months of consistent trading, then I looked at Pro accounts. The extra features weren’t confusing by then.

Standard account is fine for beginning just keep position sizes small learn first optimize later.

Standard account small positions rebates help but focus on learning entries.
