Are we in a boom and bust cycle?

Been watching the markets lately and everything feels like we’re riding the same old wave.

Pumps followed by massive dumps, then everyone acts surprised when it happens again.

Starting to think this is just how things work now.

Always been this way just faster now with algos.

The cycle feels more intense because leverage is everywhere now and retail traders jump in during every run up.

Social media makes the FOMO worse so when things reverse the selling pressure hits harder than before.

I just trade the volatility instead of trying to predict when the next bust comes.

Markets always moved in cycles. What changed is the speed and size of moves because of algorithm trading and retail access.

Central bank policies amplified everything. Zero rates pushed money into risk assets, creating bigger bubbles. When they pop, the fall is harder.

The pattern repeats because human psychology stays the same. Fear and greed drive most decisions. People forget lessons from the last crash and pile in again.

As traders we adapt to volatility instead of fighting it. Use position sizing and don’t get caught believing any trend lasts forever.

These cycles seem normal now. Low rates created reckless trading. It gets wild after every pump.
