Been trading manually for years but keep hearing about automated systems.
Wondering if anyone here actually uses bots for stock trading and how they perform compared to doing it yourself.

Most bots work fine when markets are steady, but they crash and burn during choppy conditions. Manual trading still wins.
I’ve tested several bots over the years. They look amazing in backtests but usually crash and burn with real money.
Biggest problem? They can’t adapt when markets shift. I had one that killed it during the bull run, then bled cash once volatility hit.
I still use basic automation for my swing trade entries and exits though. Just simple alerts that fire orders when conditions hit. Works way better than full automation since I’m still calling the shots.
If you’re thinking about it, start tiny and only risk what you can lose. The marketing hype is complete BS.
I’ve tested several systems but they work best as tools, not full automation.
Now I use bots for scanning and alerts, then manually execute after verifying the setup. Gets me the speed boost while keeping control when weird stuff happens.
Find bots that support your strategy instead of making all the decisions for you.
