Been seeing these 18 phi indicators mentioned in some trading circles lately but haven’t pulled the trigger on testing them yet.
Wondering if anyone here has actually used them in live trading and what kind of results you got.
I tried several phi indicators last year but they didn’t show me anything that regular fibonacci retracements couldn’t already catch.
Most just clutter your chart with extra lines without improving your entry or exit signals.
You’d probably do better mastering basic fib levels before complicating your setup.
Tried them once. Just fancy fibonacci with extra steps.
Never tried them, but phi indicators usually just repackage fibonacci levels with different names.
Tested some phi indicators a while back. They produced decent signals but made my charts really messy. Biggest problem? They lag. By the time they confirm a move, you’re often entering too late and losing out on the best trade. I prefer sticking to price action with just a couple of straightforward indicators. It leads to a much higher win rate.
