Using a bitcoin calculator by date to track investments

Been manually tracking my BTC positions but it’s getting messy with all the different buy dates and prices.

Anyone know if these date-based calculators actually give accurate historical data? Want to see my real performance over time.

I use Portfolio Performance to track crypto and forex positions. The historical data matches my exchange statements pretty well.

Just make sure you’re using data from the same exchange where you actually bought. Different exchanges can have a few dollars difference on the same day.

I double-check BTC against Coinbase Pro historical data since that’s where I made most purchases. Takes 2 minutes to verify a few random dates and you’ll know if the calculator’s accurate.

Most give decent data but cross check with exchange records.

CoinTracker pulls data from multiple exchanges and offers a clear view of your portfolio performance. The historical pricing is accurate and it simplifies calculations for multiple buy orders at different dates. It saves you from managing spreadsheets and remembering which exchange you bought from.

CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap usually provide accurate historical data. Just choose a reliable one for tracking your investments.
