How do I stay motivated after a series of losing trades?

Just closed my 6th red trade in a row this week. Account down 8% and honestly starting to question everything.

Usually I bounce back quick but this streak is different. Keep second-guessing my setups even when they look solid.

How do you guys push through these rough patches without losing your edge?

Focus on your process not just the trades.

Your mindset is huge - way more than most people realize. I’ll watch motivational stuff when I need to reset mentally.

Try paper trading your next setups too. It’ll help rebuild confidence without burning more cash.

Step back and check your risk management. 8% down in a week screams oversized positions. Pull up those 6 trades and see if they actually matched your setup criteria. Most losing streaks start when we force trades that don’t qualify. Cut your position size in half for the next 10 trades. You’ll protect your account and trade without the pressure messing with your head.

Losing streaks can be tough to handle. I take a break for a few days. No trading or charts. When I return, I review my journal. It helps me remember that losing is part of trading. The key is ensuring each trade aligns with my plan.
