I’ve been doing forex trading for a while now, but mostly with demo accounts and very small amounts. I was planning to go overseas and start trading with around $10k, hoping to make about $200-400 daily profits. But my plans changed and I’m staying in India now.
I’m really confused about which broker to choose here. Should I go with Indian brokers or stick with international ones? I’m worried about the safety of putting so much money, especially with all the regulations here.
Anyone here trading from India with similar amounts? Would love to hear about your broker recommendations and how you handle the legal stuff. Any tips would be really helpful.
Been trading from India with similar amounts for 3 years. Go with international brokers - way better spreads and execution than Indian ones.
I use IC Markets and Pepperstone. Both ASIC regulated, never had withdrawal problems. Just keep good records for taxes.
Those profit targets will blow up your account though. $200-400 daily from 10k? I tried that when I started and got wrecked. Focus on risk management first.
Also use cashback services to cut trading costs. Helps when you’re trading a lot.
Go with regulated international brokers. Indian brokers don’t offer many currency pairs and their spreads will kill your profits. With $10k, check out XM or FXCM - they’re good with Indian clients and withdrawals are smooth. Just make sure you declare profits for taxes. Ditch those daily targets right now. Chasing 2-4% daily returns will make you overtrade and blow up your account. Set monthly goals and focus on keeping your money safe first.
